About Me...
Dear Parish Community,
My name is Delanie Miller, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), devout Catholic, and the new head of the Youth Ministry at St. John’s. I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, attending St. Paul’s for grade school, and Fletcher for High School. While I never left the Church, I did experience a reversion back to my faith after finishing my master’s degree. This has brought so much joy and peace to my life that it makes me eager to share the good news with others. When Father Rafael approached me with the task of ministering to the youth and bringing them closer to Christ I jumped at the opportunity. I’m hoping to build a program here that will evangelize, engage, and empower our youth to not only be drawn into communion with Christ, but to lead others there as well. Our goal is to make St. John’s a place of fellowship and gathering for the youth in the area.
