“Blessed are they who mourn; they shall be comforted.” (Mt 5-4) The Bereavement Ministry provides support to families in their most difficult days when mourning the loss of a loved one. We believe that “No one should grieve alone.”
We provide receptions following funerals for parishioners relieving the families of the stress of that task. When needed we will provide Greeters, Eucharistic Ministers, and Readers for the liturgies. We also provide assistance to the families during the planning stage, and after the funeral as well as in the days ahead. We want them to realize they and their loved ones are not forgotten by their parish community.
If you would like to assist us by providing food, helping serve food or being part of the liturgy, we look forward to your participation. To volunteer, contact the Parish Office (904) 246-6014.
