Food Pantry

The Food Pantry operates each Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  Food is provided for individuals and families.  If a family bag is requested, proof of family size by social security card for each family member is required.  A single person bag of food does not require a social security card.

Saturday Food Pantry

Food is also provided on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

On the first Saturday of the month, food is distributed from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  As on the Tuesday and Thursday distribution, food is provided for individuals and families.  If requesting a family bag, proof of family size, by social security card for each member, is required.

The third Saturday of the month is an outdoor event with food provided by the local food banks.  A large selection of meat, vegetables, and dry goods is usually available.  We open our parking lot at 7:00 AM  and continues until the food is gone, usually around 8:30 AM. This distribution is our big drive-thru event, we ask that you please stay in your cars so that you as well as our volunteers are kept safe with social distancing guidelines per CDC.

No proof of family size is required.

Financial Assistance

Limited financial assistance is available for residents who live in the 32233 zip code area. Assistance for rent, or utilities is considered, and the account must be at a documented risk of termination or eviction. Assistance is limited to once in a 12-month period.  A copy of the bill and proof of residence in the 32233 zip code area is required. Call the church office to make an appointment.

How to Help

Volunteers are always needed to pick up food, sort food, distribute food, register those receiving assistance, organize the lines, and help with the many other tasks that are involved in such a large ministry.  If you would like to help, please call the church office (904-246-6014).
